THESE ARE NOT GOOD TIMES /
Time accelerates, the flow breaks down; the everyday won’t stay still. The world expands and contracts at the same time. Everything happens simultaneously, and meaning often fails to catch up. These are “Not Good Times”.
Informal Project’s first collection, “Not Good Times,” focuses on the physical, emotional, and mental experiences of two designers trying to exist within the unease of their time.
The opening series of the collection,“Public Noise,”centers on the tension between the individual, society, and authority.
Within the collection, garments and accessories are produced in limited quantities, while fine art prints are released as editioned works.
During the production process, we collaborated with B Corp–certified local manufacturer Reflect Studio, independent print studio Big Baboli Print House, and Kep Textile, a workshop centered on women’s labor; environmentally responsible materials and approaches were adopted at every stage, including packaging and printing.
