Informal®Project Editions

I_P Editions is the independent product platform of Informal Project, founded in 2025 by Gökçe Genç and Erman Yılmaz.

Established as a way to translate research on typography, language, and visual culture into physical forms, the brand produces wearable products, prints, conceptual objects, and limited editions.

Rooted in what its founders describe as a “typographic intervention practice,” I_P Editions approaches letterforms not merely as tools of communication, but as carriers of ideas and culture.

Rather than following seasonal calendars, I_P Editions develops collections shaped by observations, emotions, and ideas. Each project emerges through its own natural timeline.

Gökçe Genç and Erman Yılmaz are the founders of Informal Project and I_P Editions. Based in Istanbul, their practice focuses on typography, visual communication, and contemporary graphic design. The designers have received various national and international awards in the fields of typography and editorial design.
Working across cultural and artistic fields, they collaborate with individuals and institutions in architecture, industrial design, music, photography, and fashion.
Alongside their professional practice, they regularly give lectures, talks, and workshops on typography at universities, independent spaces, and various educational programs.
